1927 Chein, No.550 Hercules Royal Blue Line Coast to Coast Pullman Bus
“Sheet steel construction. Lithographed in bright colors. Has steel imitation balloon tires, large seats, open windows, license plates, sun visor, and dummy steering wheel. 98¢†Yellow-gray version of this popular, yet very difficult to find early cross country sleeper bus push toy. Complete with all original parts and paint. Overall in very good condition. Commonly misidentified as “tin litho†it’s actually lithographed, thin gauge, sheet steel. Wide black fenders run the entire its entire length. Interior made of five connected bench seats, plus steering wheel. Separately tabbed license plates on front radiator and rear bumper. This model did not originally have headlamps. Balloon tires labeled as “Hercules Cord†have most of their original tread remaining. Best of all are the wide “Royal Bus Line†trademarks on either side. Rolls easily without any hesitation, rubbing, or angling. Size: 18†x 7†x 6â€.
